Barely Audible - Making Quiet Abstract Art From Nothingness

Normally, I love to splash on a lot of bold color while painting, but this piece is unusually pale for my work.

It reminds me of the place we try to get while mediating - away from all those noisy thoughts and intrusions to a place where sound & distractions fade away until we finally reach the comforting nothingness.

If you can get there, you reach that magical reality where creation can happen.

I meditate daily, and sometimes I get to that fertile void.

More often, I land in the barely audible, barely seeable unknown that is so close to oneness, but not quite.
